Clear Path ("we," "our," or "the app") provides AI-powered conflict guidance with optional human review from a qualified expert. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to provide our services.

Information We Collect

Account Information:

• Email address (for account creation and notifications)
• First and last name (for personalization)
• Apple ID identifier (if you sign in with Apple)

Submission Data:

• Conflict details you provide through our intake forms
• AI-generated responses to your submissions
• Live expert review responses (if requested)

Technical Data:

• Device token for push notifications (if enabled)
• Basic usage data to improve our service

How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered conflict guidance based on your submissions
• To facilitate live expert review when you request it
• To send you notifications when your review is ready
• To maintain your submission history
• To improve our service and guidance framework

Live Expert Review

When you request a live expert review, a qualified expert will read your submission details to provide a personalized written response. Your email is partially masked for privacy. Reviewers do not have access to your full account or history — only the specific submission you choose to share.

Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest
• Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure Keychain
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — to generate AI-powered guidance (your submission data is sent to OpenAI for processing)
• Supabase — for secure database storage
• Resend — for transactional email delivery
• Apple Push Notification Service — for push notifications

We do not use analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or sell data to any third party.

Your Rights

• Access: You can view your submission history within the app
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@clearpathapp.app
• Opt out: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings

Data Retention

Your submission data is retained as long as your account is active so you can access your history. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Clear Path is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Not Therapy

Clear Path is a decision support tool — not therapy, counseling, or crisis intervention. If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or your local emergency services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email.
